Pet Supply Donation to Local Animal Shelters
WILLISTON, VT - Lenny's Shoe & Apparel donated pet supplies and cash to the Humane Society of Chittenden County and Franklin County Animal Rescue this week during their annual donation drop off.
These donations were made possible on behalf of Lenny's generous customers through a coin-drop game which raised over $1,075. That money translated into 45-pounds of Wellness dog food, 20-lbs of Wellness cat food, 72 cans of wet food for dogs and cats, 25-pounds of peanut butter, 6 gallons of trash bags, 72 39-gallon trash bags and $575 cash.

"All of the staff at Lenny's in Williston and St. Albans are big animal lovers and we enjoy giving to the Humane Society each holiday season," said Marc LeBlanc, Buyer for Lenny's. "In four years, we have donated over $3,600 worth of pet food and supplies during this season of giving."
To kick off the New Year, Lenny's will continue their efforts to support the Humane Society of Chittenden County and Franklin County Animal Rescue. Visit the Williston and St. Albans stores to play the coin-drop game. All donations will go directly towards the care and comfort of the animals at these local animal shelters.
