Spreading Holiday Cheer with our Furry Friends at the Humane Society of Chittenden County
Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel donated over $800 of pet food and supplies to the Humane Society of Chittenden County today during their 8th annual donation drop off.
This donation was made possible on behalf of Lenny’s generous customers through a coin-drop game. The money translated into 604 cans of dog and cat food, 181-pounds of dry food, 36-pounds of peanut butter, 25-pounds of dog treats, 36 rolls of paper towels, 8 bales of Timothy Hay for small animals, and assorted dog toys.
“Lenny’s staff at the Williston store are big animal lovers and we enjoy giving to the Humane Society each holiday season,” said Marc LeBlanc, Buyer at Lenny’s. “In eight years, we have donated over $4,700 worth of pet food and supplies during this season of giving.”
To kick off the New Year, Lenny’s will continue their effort to support the Humane Society of Chittenden County. Visit the Williston store in the Tafts Corner Plaza this January to play the coin-drop game. All donations will go directly towards the care and comfort of the animals at the Humane Society.
